Meal Groups are our first place to connect. They provide a place where you can meet new people in your geographic area who attend The People’s Church. Groups are made up of 6-30 people who come together once a month to share a meal and have a good time.

How to Sign up for a Meal Group
- Click above on the Meal Groups Registration
- Use the Area/Town and Neighborhood filters in Groupfinder. When you find a nearby group, click on the Join the Group link and fill in the form for you and your family.
- You should receive an email confirmation and be contacted by your Meal Group Host
- Groups are limited in size. If you see “Full” by the name of a group, there will be no “Join the Group” link listed. Please select another Meal Group.

What’s included in a Meal Group experience?
- Monthly gathering of neighbors from The People’s Church
- Meets ideally on a Sunday afternoon (5-7 p.m.)
- Centers around sharing a meal (something simple where everyone contributes something)
- Led by a Meal Group Host with resources (Party in a Box) supplied by The People’s Church
- Offers a casual, inviting atmosphere
- Provides time to talk and “hang out”
- Includes a diverse mix of people – single, married and intergenerational
- Includes children and teenagers
Neighborhood Traditions
Seasonal activities or events which add to a growing sense of community in our neighborhoods. (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Super Bowl, Easter, July 4th, Sunday Soup Night, Monthly Grill Night, Monthly Game Night, etc.). Find ideas to help you create traditions in your neighborhood here!
