Children's Ministry at The People's Church

New Christian’s Class

This class is for children who are asking serious and persistent questions concerning their faith or ones who have recently received Christ as their Savior.

It is designed to broaden and strengthen a child’s understanding of:

    • How to become a Christian
  • The significance of baptism and communion
  • What it means to be a part of the church

Description:

A five-week class offered to children with parent participation

  • Meets in Portable One at 9:15 a.m. on Sunday Mornings
  • Parents and children will work together through a workbook at home (Cost $6.50)
  • Offered approximately five times per year, advance registration required
  • Parents attend the first and fifth weeks without children
  • Children attend the second, third and fourth weeks without parents

      • Sunday, March 2 , session 4 - children only. What is the significance of the Lord's Supper?
      • Sunday, March 9 , session 5 - parents only. Where do we go from here?

      March 30 through April 27

        • Sunday, March 30 , session 1 - parents only. Parents' role in guiding their child in a faith journey

          • Sunday, April 13 , session 3 - children only. What is the significance of baptism and being part of the church?
