Safety and health

Safety

We utilize a security tag system to monitor the pick up and release of children. If the parent does not have the security tag to pick up his or her child, a time consuming set of steps must be followed. All of this is for the safety of the child.

Health

In case of an emergency (accident, illness, general discontent), parents who supply a cell phone number will be called; parents

who take a pager will be paged; or parents will be paged by discreetly posting the security tag number on the screens in the Worship Center.

We follow standard hygiene practices and will not accept a child with a fever, rash or a runny nose that is green or yellow in color. If a child exhibits any signs of illness within 24 hours before class begins, please do not bring him or her to Preschool Park. Signs include a cough, cold, upset stomach, diarrhea, rash, fever, sore throat, ear ache, etc.

Allergies

We post allergy alert signs on the classroom doors stating the snack for the day. We also have special stickers for children with allergies to further alert teachers.
